I’m Back in the World of Pokémon!

The 1st time I get into Pokémon was the Pokémon Red, Blue, Yellow until Gold and Silver.
Next, I watch the anime, read the manga & play Trading Card Game.
I have quite great knowledge on First and Second Generation Pokémon.

Pokémon GO released in 2016 and I started playing it.
I quickly became obsessed.
I loved the idea of being able to explore my city and catch Pokémon in the real world.
I also enjoyed the social aspect of the game.
However, I eventually stopped after a while to focus something more important in life.

In the year 2023, I participate Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet Launch Event Roadshow at Sunway Pyramid.
I remember this was during the Chinese New Year week.
So, why not go there and reminisce about Pokémon.

Fast-forward 5 months later, I compete in all 3 Pokémon Championship Malaysia which is #PokemonGO, #PokemonVG & #PokemonTCG.
For Pokémon Video Game category, I get into Top 8. (Or should I said Top 16, more info can refer to my YouTube and social media)
However, I did not make it through the qualifiers for Pokémon GO and Trading Card Game.

I’m still proud of my accomplishments, and I’m looking forward to competing again in the future.

Finally, Granger Legend skin has arrive in Mobile Legends Bang Bang (MLBB).
However, it’s not in Magic Wheel.
It’s look like old Epic Showcase draw with only 2 weeks limit that called Legend Encore.

So, as this is one of my favorite heroes.
I will use the method I introduce here.
This is not for those who want the skin as soon as possible due to you can only get it from last day of the events.

I will try to save as much as I can but as I calculate, I would still need to recharge minimum 6000 Diamonds (which is RM 399).

Below is the free token provided by the game:

Achieve 5 Super Rewards – 1295 Showcase Token

I have subscribe to the below Crystal of Aurora Pass which will give a total 940 Crystal of Aurora in the span of 2 weeks (14 days).

As of currently, I have a combine of 1043 of Diamonds & Crystal of Aurora.
Then, I will get a total of 1765 of Shadow Token from the game and 940 from the Aurora Pass.
Total in the last day of the event, I would get total of 3708 “Diamonds” for the draw.
Plus with my planned recharge of 6000 Diamonds, a grand total of 9708.

P/S: It maybe take more than this amount as it depend on pure luck.

PS5 vs PS5 Digital Edition

You wait ages for a next-generation PlayStation and then 2 come along at once.
The PS5 and PS5 Digital Edition have just receive pre-order in Malaysia and all the stocks gone in minutes.
Basically, the disc-less Digital Edition is around RM430 cheaper than the ‘pregnant’ version.

As you can see from the photos, the main difference is one has a disc drive while another one doesn’t.
In fact, for the looks, Digital Edition definitely the sleeker of the 2.
Technically, both using the same hardware.

Storage wise, both machines get a next-gen 825GB SSD.
That could quickly be filled up with games especially only 664GB of the 812GB is useable.

You could opt for PS5 IF:

  • Some old PS4 game disc that can be also play with PS5 (You could transfer save file from PS4 to PS5 as well)
  • Game console as 4k entertainment player
  • Lousy Internet connection as you need to download FULL game into PS5 Digital Edition
  • Prefer to buy PS5 game disc and collector’s edition game packages
