Monitor & Mouse Upgrade

It’s nearly the end of the 2nd quarter of the year 2022.

I stumbled upon Logitech MX Master 3 and this mouse is a perfect replacement for MK720 as both can switch between PC plus it’s USB-C charging.
It’s a perfect time as My MK720 Triathlon Wireless Mouse from the Logitech MK850 Performance Wireless Keyboard and Mouse Combo has been malfunction a bit and it’s time to get a new mouse.

Next, my monitor has been in Full HD (1080p) for quite sometime and it’s time to upgrade to 4K resolutions.
Since I am working in Dell, why don’t I purchase monitor from Dell.
Hence, I found a perfect monitor with HDMI and Display Port and within my budget.

Just pick a location with the date, fill up your basic info such as IC and mobile number.
Pass the Captcha and submit the info which you will be in the below “Thank You” page.

JKJAV Thank You Page

Within 48 hours of your registration, MySejatera app will have notification for you to confirm your appointment with time.
FYI, you cannot change the appointment date or time.

MySejactera Vaccination Page

I went 1 hour earlier during the appointment day.
For PPV (Pusat Pemberian Vaksin) UM, there is quite a lot of parking space.

There is 3 stage of waiting.
1st is Registration, 2nd is Medical Advise, 3rd is Vaccination.
Lastly is post-vaccination observation for 15 minutes or 30 minutes depend on your condition.

Due to there is a report on cases on reduce dosage of vaccine a day before my appointment, I purposely requested to record a video for this.
However, rejected by the vaccinator.
Then, she allow me to take picture of the syringe which is the below that show the correct amount of dosage which is 0.5ml for AstraZeneca vaccine.

0.5ml of AstraZeneca dosage inside syringe

After the observation, I get a vaccination card and been informed that I will receive 2nd dosage appointment in the next 14 days.

Vaccination Card

For sure, the next thing is to take picture that I complete my 1st dose.

Streamer Journey

CYLIM87 Facebook Gaming Page

Since Movement Control Order (MCO) impose in Malaysia due to Covid-19, I have start my journey to become streamer.
Most specifically, game streamer.

I love video games ever since I was a child and I don’t want to just play game.
I want to contribute to the gaming community and maybe socialize with the world while playing the game.

I believe that most of the world have access to Facebook (FB) Gaming and have personal FB account.
Next, create a FB page with the category “Gaming Video Creator”.

1st step is complete.
Next is streaming setup.
There is a lot of streaming software out there.
However, I only use this 2 which is Streamlab OBS and Omlet Arcade.
Both pretty straightforward to stream your game in your FB page.

Omlet Arcade Logo

I will start off with Omlet Arcade.
This is mobile application which stream directly from your phone.
It does have desktop streaming but I mostly use it in my phone instead.

Streamlan OBS (SLOBS) Logo

All-in-one live streaming software, Streamlab OBS (SLOBS).
This is a Windows Desktop application and I not that familiar with mobile application.
SLOBS contains quite a lot of widget and scenes to make your livestream a bit interesting.
It’s a bit difficult to setup but once you get used to it, you would love this.

AirServer Logo

I myself sometime would love to use SLOBS Desktop to stream my mobile game.
So, I need to cast and mirror my mobile display to desktop.
I introduce you The Universal Mirroring Receiver, AirServer
Basically, you could use any mobile devices and wirelessly mirror display over to my PC (AirPlay + Google Cast + Miracast).
However, this come with 30-day trial and consumer license cost USD19.99 for 1 activation.
There is a lot of free mirror display software out there but I personally not a fan of mirror display using wired connection.

Up until now, I believe all set for your first stream.
Do leave comment below if you have any question.

FYI, below is my page Insight for from October 27th until November 23rd.
Basically, my post reach more than 3000 peoples and at this point of time not that much.
I hope that in the future, it can reach much further and let us grow the gaming community.

HouzKEY (2nd Part)

It’s been a while and I stay in my own place now.

Basically, the agreement between developers and Maybank plus the money that required to be disbursed in order for me to move in which is the Vacant Possession (VP).
If I not mistaken, it took around 2 months.

FYI, this also eligible for the Moratorium Financial Relief Scheme during MCO and Automatic Three-Month Moratorium Extension till end of this year which do not required you to do anything.
However, I decide to opt-out from this.

It’s already 2 years since then.

So, I end this post with my selfie. 🤣

You Probably Don’t Need Screen Protector

Smartphones and tablet are quite expensive especially flagship phone. No one wouldn’t want to spend a fortune and end up with a scratched screen. Many people still buy screen protectors and some even buy tempered glass screen protectors. In my POV, they have become less necessary.

Screen protectors were once practically mandatory, but advances in glass and coatings have made them unnecessary for most people. You don’t have to buy a screen protector (or even tempered glass) when you get a new phone.

To further elaborate on this, now most of the smartphones currently use Corning’s Gorilla Glass. This is a toughened, hard glass with high scratch resistance. Corning has actually been releasing new versions of Gorilla Glass over the years and each year it was up to 40% more scratch resistance than previous version.

Your smartphone’s screen is already fairly scratch resistant. That is if you have a recent smartphone and not one that is five years old. My old phone which is the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge has been “naked” screen (without screen protector) until now still have flawless screen as you can refer to the below picture.

Screen protectors aren’t nearly as important as they used to be. They add a bit of extra protection to your phone, but that additional protection isn’t always necessary. Think of it like wearing knee pads while riding a bike. They’re super ugly, but they might come in handy during a freak accident.

HouzKEY

HouzKEY is an alternative home ownership solution. You can choose to rent a home from maybank2own with a given option for you to purchase the property as and when you are ready within the rental period.

HouzKEY

To start this post, I will tell you all about my experience and full process of this HouzKey.

First of all, Maybank introduces its RTO scheme to cater to this segment of the society – HouzKEY.
HouzKEY allows the renter/buyer to rent a home for 12 months and after that, he/she has the option to purchase the home anytime at the pre-agreed price.
While a rent-to-own (RTO) scheme may seem like a new concept for Malaysians, it has been implemented overseas.
For example, Home Partners Of America, for those in the United States, is similar to HouzKEY – it’s a scheme that allows rental tenants to purchase a home within five years of renting.

I have applied this HouzKey 2 months ago.
I submitted all the required document to the website and it’s take around 1 – 2 business days for them to get back on the result.
They might asked to submit extra supporting document in order to make the application even more success.

From there onward, Maybank will prepare the Lease Agreement and I required to sign it (Guarantor also required to sign if apply with guarantor) within 14 days after it’s approve.
You will receive SMS and email regardless whether the application is success or being rejected.

My guarantor is not in KL for my case.
So I requested them to send the guarantor agreement part to my guarantor.
The guarantor required to sign the agreement with solicitor.
Afterwards, the guarantor agreement will send back to me and for me to bring to the Hub (Which is at Menara Maybank) to complete my signature part and pay the security deposit.

Basically, I’m currently waiting for Vacant Possession (VP) which based on the bank officer might take around 3 months.
